Troussas Wines Goustolidi 2025
This rare dry white wine is crafted from Goustolidi, a historic Zakynthian variety preserved through the dedication of local families, and originates from a unique, ungrafted, goblet-trained vineyard in the village of Skoulikado. Born from the creative collaboration between grower Nikolas Loutas and oenologist Athena Tsoli, this wine is a true expression of the local terroir and a living connection to over three centuries of Zakynthian wine culture. Following gentle crushing and 5 months of aging on its fine lees, the wine develops remarkable complexity. The nose is dominated by bright citrus notes of lemon zest, grapefruit, and lime, beautifully intertwined with herbaceous hints of fresh fennel, lemongrass, delicate white blossoms, and a distinct, charming touch of bitter almond. On the palate, Goustolidi truly stands out due to its texture, offering a signature oily richness and a wonderful weight that grant it an exceptional gastronomic quality.
