Mikra Thira Winery Terrasea 2022

The collaboration of the three great personalities in the history of Greek wine, Vangelis Gerovassiliou, Vassilis Tsaktsarlis and Ioanna Vamvakouris, resulted in the creation of the winery Mikra Thira. It is the only winery in Thirasia, on the small island opposite Santorini, which was part of it until the volcanic eruption of 1600 BC. In Terrasea, the first PDO Santorini wine exclusively from Thirasia grapes, the formality acquires intensity.

On the face we find a bright lemon color, with golden highlights. On the nose there are aromas reminiscent of pear, citrus, tropical fruits, combined with notes of botany, noticeable minerality that reminds us of tsakmakopetra but also an obvious sense of saltiness. In the mouth it is exuberant, with a sharp acidity and an exciting aftertaste that lasts for an hour.
