Mega Spileo Estate Domain Orange Wine 2017

Orange by Mega Spileo comes from Roditis and Malvazia grapes, from mountainous vineyards at an altitude of 800 to 900 meters. After the grapes are pressed, they are taken to new 400 liter oak barrels, where the alcoholic fermentation takes place. The grape solids are then removed and the wine remains in the same barrels for 16 months. It is then bottled without the addition of oenological products and remains in the bottle for another 24 months.

Light orange color with brown highlights. Glazed fruits such as apricot, persimmon, orange, the spicy character with cinnamon follows, with hints of herbs at the end. Medium volume and acidity, with a strong feeling of oiliness and soft but noticeable tannins that compose a delicious and elegant whole. Long lasting aftertaste that persists.
