Foivos Papastratis Savatiano Orange 2025
Foivos Papastratis creates his Savatiano Orange Single Vineyard from an 80-year-old vineyard, showcasing the traditional Greek variety through a natural and minimal-intervention approach. Fermented with indigenous yeasts, the wine remains in contact with the grape skins for 45 days in stainless steel tanks, developing its distinctive amber-orange color and tannic structure. Bottled unfiltered and without added sulfites, it expresses a unique and authentic character. In the glass, the color is deep amber orange. Complex nose, with aromas of ripe stone fruits, quince, beeswax, and golden raisins, followed by notes of candied orange peel to complete the set. The palate is rich and layered, with elegant oxidative notes, structured tannins, vibrant acidity, and a long, expressive aftertaste.
