The estate Glinavos is part of the living continuity of Zitsa. With continuous efforts to get better quality wines, the estate Glinavos is a pioneer in the field of winemaking. The winery that was set up by Lefteris Glivanos with so much enthusiasm and effort – is undertaken and supported by his son Thomas, as CEO, who follows his father's footsteps. The winery is open to visitors on weekdays and by appointment on weekends. Also, organized visits of 30-40 people can be accommodated, giving them the opportunity to become acquainted with not only the premises and the wines but also the local foods. The Glinavos family used the native varieties of white Debina, and Vlach and Mpekari red in the first years and then other greek and foreign varieties. This gives the opportunity to wine lovers, locals and visitors, to enjoy unique wines with international awards.
