Gaia Wines Ammonite 2023

Gaia's new creation is called Ammonite and is inspired by the company's emblem. Ammonite is created entirely from the harvest of a rare, very old vineyard of the island, matures over 15 months with its lees and, combined with a small amount of wine left for months in new French oak barrels, offers an exciting profile.

It has a bright golden yellow color. The aromas consist of ripe white flesh peach, citrus, nuts, white pepper, followed by notes of honeycomb and minerality to be always present. Full mouthfeel, with a greasy feeling, high acidity, slightly tannic with a long aftertaste.
