Dougos Winery Tourtoura 2022

Louisa and Thanos Dougos release Tourtoura, a single block Rapsani, that is, not only from a specific vineyard but from a specific part of the vineyard. The vines from which the wine comes are 67 years old, mainly from Xinomavro grape, with a little Krasato and Stavroto.

In the glass we have a bright purple color. On the nose we find strong aromas of strawberry, raspberry, sour cherry, forest fruits, with the aromas of spices following and notes of cocoa completing its character. Full on the palate, with elegance as the protagonist, well-integrated tannins, lively acidity and a long lasting aftertaste.
