Bizios Estate HETA Nemea Single Vineyard 2019

The label "HETA" from Bizios Estate is a Premium Single Vineyard Nemea from selected 40-year-old vines and an altitude of 900 meters in Asprokambos. The choice of "H" comes from the initial of the word "Hekaton" which in the acrophonic numbering system symbolizes 100, a number that in a modern competition corresponds to absolute excellence, setting the ambitious vision for this wine. The wine is aged for 24 months in 1st and 2nd use French oak barrels. It is then bottled unfiltered and aged for another 6 months.

In the glass we meet an intense purple color with violet highlights. On the nose we find aromas of red cherries, plum, cocoa, vanilla, spices, with earthy notes and some hints of black tea completing its character. In the mouth it is rich, with pleasant acidity, well-integrated, full tannins and a long-lasting aftertaste.
