Description: Grown in the Cyclades, with a focus on Santorini, but also in the Dodecanese, especially Rhodes. Another prominent growing area is Sithonia of Halkidiki (PDO Slopes of Melitonas). Athiri gives mainly dry wines with subtle citrus aromas and mild flavor characteristics. We can also get white dry, sweet and sparkling wines (mainly Rhodes). It has a soft, balanced mouthfeel and low to moderate acidity.
