Artisans Vignerons de Naoussa Cuvée Amphoreas Roditis-Malagousia
The grapes are hand-harvested from organically managed vineyards in the wine-growing region of Naoussa, at an altitude of approximately 500 meters above sea level. The grapes are destemmed and transferred to old clay amphorae, where the juice undergoes spontaneous fermentation for 20 days. Afterward, the juice is moved to larger amphorae, around 1,000 liters, to mature on the lees for 8 months. It is then bottled with light filtration and added sulfites.
In the glass, we find a clear orange color. The aromatic profile features apricot, orange peel, and dried pineapple, followed by notes of nuts and herbs. On the palate, the body is full, with a nice oily texture that balances beautifully with the light tannins, vibrant acidity, and a long-lasting finish.
