Mercouri Estate Albariño 2024

The ever pioneer Mercouri Estate, after several experiments during the last years, has released the first - and even single vineyard - Albariño in the Greek market. The wine is quite aromatic and has many common characteristics with the variety in its classical expression in Rias Baixas, Spain. Aromatically moves between shades of fresh peach with soft floral notes while in the mouth it has freshness, moderate body and soft finish. An ideal summer wine, that has the ability to accompany lots of tasty combinations. Excellent with gourds, scalloping mussels, roasted shrimp but also with ethnic hot dishes. The year of 2017 gave only 1200 bottles.
