The last harvest for the Estate Averoff Cabernet Sauvignon is Mare Ursa 2012, bottled in a collective, dreamy bottle. It's originated from the most mountainous vineyard of Greece, in the Giniets territory, at an altitude of 900-1000 meters, in the Pindus Mountains. The wine undergoes 12 to 18 months of oxidative fermentation, with 6 months in the bottle to follow. Vibrant red color with burgundy highlights and red fruit aromas, like cherry and plum, with notes of spices, vanilla, coffee and wood. Full and structured mouth, with a rich and balanced body. Light tannins to the finish and long aftertaste.
