OPTIMUS means ideal and for Gaia it is the best choice for the name of a wine born from the search for the ideal version of Agiorgitiko.

In an ideal vineyard in the semi-mountainous Koutsi, Agiorgitiko is grown, which for Optimus is complemented by a small percentage of the Vertzami variety, which is also grown in Koutsi.

The blend was aged for about 18 months in oak barrels and then bottled without any intervention whatsoever.

In the glass we find a deep ruby color. On the nose we find rich aromas of black and red fruits, violets, cocoa, followed by hints of spices. In the mouth, the body is rich with a velvety texture, juicy tannins, good acidity and a long aftertaste.
