On Santorini, the island of dramatic beauty and history of the Cyclades island, family Karamolegou produces the famous wines of the island since 1995 . The specificities of the island's microclimate (where the soil is volcanic limestone), are fermented with the unique grape varieties, which, for centuries, achieve to survive in these extreme conditions. This is the specific difference that distinguishes Santorini wines and places them at a prominent position worldwide. In a modern winery at Exo Gonia , the native island grape varieties (Assyrtikko, Aidani, Athyri & Mavrotragano) are grown at the family owned vineyards and vinified with care.
