Garalis Winery Terra Ambera Amphora 2024

Terra Ambera Amphora is a mildly vinified orange Muscat of Alexandria from the volcanic island of Lemnos. The harvest is carried out by hand and then the juice remains with the grape skins for 4 months in a recovered amphora buried in the soil (it was discovered in an excavation at a private house and then it was re-installed at the winery), before the wine is transferred to a stainless steel tank for destemming and bottling, without stabilization and filtering.

It has an orange color. Intense aromas of citrus peels, dried quince, apricot jam, chamomile, honeycomb, followed by floral notes. Rich mouthfeel, with moderate acidity, a slight sense of tannins and a long lasting aftertaste.
