Blank Canvas Abstract Three Rows Sauvignon Blanc 2019

An alternative to the classic New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc, Abstract focuses on complexity and rich texture. The aromatic intensity, fruitiness and incredible texture of this Sauvignon Blanc are the signature wine of Blank Canvas winery.

Wild fermentation in old French oak barrels of 500 liters and stay for 15 months on the lees without battonage. It is bottled unfiltered and with a small addition of sulphite. The wine is vegetarian and vegan friendly.

We detect aromas of gooseberry leaf, white flowers and smoky notes of silicon. In the mouth it is full, with a rounded texture and depth, but with refreshing acidity and a very long aftertaste.

Master of Wine Sophie Parker-Thomson with Master of Science Matt Thomson created the Blank Canvas boutique winery in Marlborough, where they produce small quantities of unique wines sourced exclusively from single vineyards.
