Mavrogianni Estate Ikos Dryadon 2024
The Oikos Dryadon label by Mavrogianni Estate is a refined white wine inspired by the mythology and natural surroundings of the region. It evokes the sacred refuge of the forest nymphs, protected by the fox—a symbol of the local fauna and a reference to the Roditis grape variety (“fox”), cultivated in the estate’s vineyards at the foothills of Mount Movri.
On the nose, it reveals an elegant and fresh aromatic profile, dominated by citrus fruits and white-fleshed fruits such as green apple and pear, complemented by subtle hints of flowers and forest herbs. On the palate, it stands out for its well-balanced structure and refreshing, crisp acidity, which lends it vibrancy and freshness, together with a delicate minerality that leads to a clean and pleasantly lingering finish.
