The GG comes from the Piesporter Goldtröpfchen vineyard, characterized by steep slopes of up to 70%, with fertile soils rich in Devonian slate, which contribute to the wine’s vibrant character. The wines often display lively freshness and a cooler style, with fine yet pronounced acidity and a distinct saline quality. On the nose, aromas of yellow stone fruit, ripe peach, delicate herbs, and floral notes unfold, accompanied by pronounced minerality. On the palate, it is juicy and taut, with vibrant acidity, saline slate notes, and remarkable depth. Pure fruit, subtle spice, and a long finish give the wine expressiveness and finesse.
