Tullamore D.E.W. 12Yo Special Reserve

Tullamore D.E.W. 12YO Special Reserve is a blend of aged Irish whiskey made with special care that combines the three different types of Irish whiskey and is distilled three times. It has, however, a high percentage of distillate derived from a traditional alembic pot still, as well as a high percentage of malt whiskey, which matures in a combination of sherry barrels and bourbon from 12 to 15 years. The initial spicy aroma is followed by shades of red wine. These give way to delicious nuts undertones before the light oak appears in the presence of ripening barrels. Intense spice flavor with a round but creamy body, and a vibrant chocolate touch. It is accompanied by dried fruits and nuts, which add to the taste a clear touch of praline.
