Bunnahabhain 12yo Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky
Bunnahabhain 12yo Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky
Bunnahabhain has been in Islay since 1881 and is the least smoked of the island's other distilleries. Bunnahabhain means "mouth of the river", named after its location, as it is located on the banks of the river Margadale on the shores of the Sound of Islay and first appeared in 1883. However, its origin can be traced four years earlier when, in 1879 , William Robertson and the Greenlees brothers, had formed the Islay Distillery Company. A double matured whiskey in barrels hosted by bourbon and sherry. Extremely rich with a full body, achieving the perfect balance of characteristic flavors of spices and sherry. Fresh and aromatic, with notes of dried fruit and subtle signs of smoke. Herbal finish balanced with salty tone.
