Xibal Gin

Xibal is the first gin ever made in Guatemala, inspired by Mayan mythology. Through a combination of bay leaves, lemon, black pepper, orange, apricot and cardamom, Xibal expects to connect its Guatemalan roots with pre-Colombian and modern local culture. Its packaging represents its identity, through hieroglyphic symbols, and tells us its story through the legend of Xibalba, one of the most important parts of Mayan mythology.

On the face bright and clear. On the nose we find strong aromas of juniper, citrus, with notes of cardamom and black pepper to follow and some floral hints to complement its character. The palate has a long and slow finish.
