Domokos

Although in the past the region of Domokos had a long tradition in wine and viticulture, several different factors were slowing their development. The result is nowadays, only a few wineries are making diligent efforts to highlight the wine region, emphasizing the cultivation of imported varieties such as Sauvignon, Cabernet, Merlot, Syrah, Chardonnay, Mourverdre, Pinot noir and Grenache rouge, and a few local varieties such as Malagouzia, Muscat of Alexandria and Assyrtiko.
