Giannopoulos - Vineyards

With vineyards on the slopes of Taygetos at the historic Sparta, the story of Giannopoulos family starts in the early 90's when Chris Giannopoulos, having a passion for wine, decided to get engaged with viticulture. People loved the wine, and the privately owned family vineyards started growing. Along the way came in Evangelos Giannopoulos, son of Chris, who studied winemaker and oenologist and he assisted in significantly upgrading  estate products with key year the 2015, when the first 3 bottles with Protected Geographical Indication Laconia that labeled Vineyard Giannopoulos were produced. Giannopoulos family aims to highlight the vinous character of the estate, participating in our everyday table.
