Verino - Distillery

The Verino Distillery was founded at Argos in 1978 by Babis Spiliopoulos and currently operates under the direction of him and his son, Thanos Spiliopoulos. The distillery is producing quality bottled tsipouro, varietal tsipouro, tsipouro aged in barrel and a remarkable variety of liqueurs. The excellent quality of tsipouro is due to the fine raw material (used grape marc from leading local winemakers-particularly Domaine Skouras), but also the art of traditional distillation using two copper pot stills of 1,300 liters each.
