We are of course talking about the Italian varieties that sprang up at the Greek vineyards, managing to acclimatize and now enjoy the strong Greek sun and our beneficial Mediterranean climate, as well as the unique care of the Greek Winemakers who trusted them and decided to vinify them.


You wont call them exotic, but they present great interest as they differentiate from the Greek varieties that we all love, but also from the equivalent varieties that grow in their country of origin.


It is worth getting a glimpse of the Nebbiolo with the “Don Giovanni” brand name from the Papargyriou vineyards and the Nebbiolo from Technis Oinou, the Refosco from the Domaine Merkouri and the Adam Winery or the Karipidis Sangiovese.
