Santo Wines Santorini Thira Kori 2023

Santo Wines Santorini Thira Kori 2023

The grapes come from the vineyards of the neighboring island (Thirasia), which took its name from the youngest daughter of the king of Thira. These are ungrafted Assyrtiko vines, on average over 100 years old. The wine is aged in clay amphoraes, on fine lees, for at least 12 months before bottling.

A great wine that highlights the terroir of the island, capturing its complexity and special mineral character.

In the glass we find a pale lemon colour, with golden highlights. On the nose aromas of citrus fruits, stone fruits, white pepper, ginger, with expressive minerality to follow. In the mouth it has a full and buttery body, with high acidity, leading to a delightful aftertaste.
