The latest label of the Idaia winery is called Malva de Crete and revives a historical variety, Malvasia di Candia, originating from Heraklion. In the glass we find a lemon-green color. On the nose we find aromas of flowers, citrus and stone fruits, with tropical notes and some hints of spices to follow. Moderate body on the palate, with lively acidity and a cool pleasant aftertaste.
