Volacus Winery Malagousia 2024
Volacus Winery Malagousia 2024
Volacus is a family business affair o Michalis Kontizas and his wife Eirin, currently producing just 3.000 bottles. The Volacus terroir is out of this galaxy with Malagousia planted, in terraces, at 440 m altitude, with scattered huge granitic stones (volakes) in between. The wine: (13.5% abv, 6 months on the lees) Attractive lemon green with a tight and focused nose, with mature apple, peach and green tea aromas. Structured, salty and very mineral, with mouthwatering acidity. A new fascinating interpretation of rapidly rising Malagousia variety.
