Winery Vatistas Kidonitsa 2022

Ioannis Vatistas distinguished Kidonitsa variety from the beginning and cultivated the private-owned vineyards in Monemvasia from 1986. Now the second generation of the family, Maria Vatista, cultivates the beloved variety in an elegant and complex style that impressed us. The characteristic quince aroma coexists harmoniously, without towering over the complex total.

• Light straw-green color and distinctive aromas of white blossoms, white peach, pear and green apple. All this framed by a distinctive, yet elegant, scent of quince in the background, without any imposition.
• Structured mouth with mineral, discreet acidity and medium body. Very high alcohol, which is not easily distinct. Aftertaste of white fruit.
• Drink at 11°C, pair with seafood, fish and white meat. Ideal Greek cuisine companion.
