Dewar's Double Double 27 Year Old

The Dewar’s 27 Year belongs to the Double Double series, known for its distinctive four-stage aging process. The whisky matures for at least 27 years and is bottled at 46% ABV. Its production is based on the “four-stage ageing” method: initially, the malt and grain whiskies are aged separately; then they are blended into two partial blends and aged again; afterward, they are combined into a final blend that continues to mature; and in the last stage, the ageing is completed in Palo Cortado sherry casks, which gives the final result exceptional complexity and depth.

In its aromatic profile, notes of flowers, honey, and ripe fruits appear, while on the palate, flavors of caramel, orange peel, dried fruits, and subtle spices such as cinnamon stand out. Its texture is exceptionally smooth, and the finish is long and warm, with hints of oak and sweet fruits.
