Markovitis Winery Xinomavro Extra Brut Rose 2023

Xinomavro Extra Brut Markovitis is a rosé sparkling wine made from Xinomavro, the result of careful consideration and a significant evolution for the winery. The wine originates from younger vines located in the coolest part of the estate's privately owned vineyards and is produced using the traditional method (méthode traditionnelle). Remaining on its lees for 26 months, it acquires remarkable complexity. In the glass, it displays a bright pink color with fine effervescence. On the nose, one finds intense aromas of red fruits, brioche, and dough, followed by hints of tomato and herbs. On the palate, it is dry with a medium body, high acidity, a light tannic structure, and a long-lasting finish.
