Since the legislation does not allow the 'Mavrodaphne' variety to be indicated on the label when the wine is dry, the producers are choosing relative names. Here we have the word "Tsigello", which is the quality clone of Mavrodaphne. It is one of the most fashionable Mavrodaphnes, with strong herbs and bitter chocolate on the nose, along with juicy black fruit. Concentrated, elegant with only 13% alcohol and nice pepper in the mouth, Tsigello is a wonderful addition to the dry Mavrodaphne collection. Production of 3000 bottles, with ripening in amphoras.
