Moschopolis Winery 18 2019

A blend of Mavrotragano (60%) and Syrah (40%) from the privately owned organic vineyard in a hilly area at an altitude of 500m. The small hectare yield ensures high concentration. The wine, after being fermented with spontaneous native yeasts from the vineyard, is aged for 18 months in French oak barrels that previously housed the white and rose wines of the Moschopolis series. It is bottled unfiltered.

On the nose we will find strong aromas of small red fruits (such as sour cherry and plum), dried fig, nuts and caramel. In the mouth these aromas are followed by vanilla, dark chocolate, coffee, spices, chestnut and tobacco.
