Antonis Argyros in Exo Gonia Santorini and in the wonderful Art Space Winery, creates wines that demonstrate the typicality of the varieties, but also the uniqueness of the terroir of Santorini.
In Saint August the usage of indigenous yeasts exacerbates the complexity of Assyrtikos, clearly incorporating its wealth. The color is yellow with intense golden highlights. Complex nose, with aromas of yellow ripe fruits, sweet aromas of flowers, honeycomb, white-flesh fruits, with notes of eastern spices, founded on a lasting sense of minerality inextricably linked to the terroir of the island. On the palate it is very complex, rich, with excellent structure and balance, strong acidity and long aftertaste.
