Malagousia Naked Magnum 2015
Malaguzia Naked somehow contains the story of a Greek grape variety that is now cultivated at a big part of Greece. The Malagousia experimental planting at Porto Carras estate started somewhere in the mid-60s and its systematic planting began several years later in 1974. Malagousia Naked comes from this vineyard, where some of the oldest Malagousia vines in the country exist. The name Naked comes from bottling is done without any processing or filtering, after the classic white wine vinification and the 10 months maturity in new French barrels.
This is a collector's wine that may assist highlighting the greatness of this variety, while the particular vinification allows ageing which after all stimulates the interest of all wine lovers. It comes in limited and numbered magnum bottles.
