Domaine Porto Carras  introduced this year the impressive Chateau Le Grand Blanc in 750ml bottles. As known, it comes from a mixture of two white varieties (Malagousia and Assyrtiko) and a classic red variety, Limnio, that was vinified as blanc de noir. The 3 varieties were individually vinified while the blend remained for nine months in new French oak barrels.

The result is a really impressive wine with complex aromas of citrus, white fruit, acacia flower, chamomile, hazelnut, toasted bread and white pepper. It has a robust mouth feel with sharp acidity and a long aftertaste. It is obvious that this wine has come to stay.
