Lagavulin 16 years old

It is true that the 16 year old has become a benchmark Islay malt from the Lagavulin distillery. It has one of the smokiest noses, very concentrated and redolent of iodine, sweet spices, mature sherry and creamy vanilla. Very thick and rich on the palate, full of malt and sherry with fruity sweetness and powerful peat and oak. Long spicy finish with peat smoke, vanilla and figs.
