Ligas estate vinifies only the exceptional vintages of Boucephale, from old vines of Xinomavro fermented with wild yeasts. The wine matures for 18 months in French oak and is then bottled unfiltered.
Moderate ruby color. The aromatic characteristics are dominated by dried tomato, black olive paste, complemented exceptionally by tea, leather, violet, black pepper and cinnamon with cocoa notes to follow. The palate is full, with lively acidity, beautifully integrated tannins and a lasting aftertaste.
