A fine blend of 85% Cabernet Sauvignon and 15% Merlot, from organically cultivated vineyards. Long extractions and long, slow ageing lead to a tight and austere Bordeaux blend, with 10 to 12 years in the bottle. Bordeaux-like nose with cherries, blackcurrants, tobacco and cedar. Earthy notes and lots of complexity. Superb on the palate, very detailed with fruit depth and fleshy texture. Chunky tannins are starting to integrate. Plenty of life ahead but already approachable.
