In the cosmopolitan Mykonos are placed the most expensive stretches of vineyards. Mainly in Marathi and the Monastery of Panagia Tourliani, in Ano Mera village, were planted the Aegean varieties, Assyrtiko, Athiri, Monemvasia, Mandilaria from which were produced the white, rosé and red P.G.I. Aigaio wines.
